Research Projects

Despite their common known role as the „powerhouse of the cell“ mitochondria are involved in several organismic key processes; The project will characterize mitochondrial haplotypes and gene expression in laying hens in the context of phosphorus utilization. The project is part of the DFG research unit P-FOWL.
